About Us & Our Project

Hello!

We are students in IDT 650: Multimedia, a graduate level course at West Virginia University. Our names are Angel Cannon and Linda Bane.

This blog will follow the progress of our multimedia design project, which is required for successful completion of the class.

Our project is based on the West Virginia Information Depot site, which acts as a library portal for all West Virginia residents and allows them to access all the West Virginia library databases from home. The entire site is too large for the scope of this project, so we have chosen to work with the Points of View database.


Linda Bane
Hello! I'm a librarian and a student in the WVU Online ID&T masters program.

I work with WVInfoDepot.org with students. I've been working hard to educate our students about the WV Info Depot site in order to spread the word to their families, friends, and neighbors. I'm hoping they will educate the up and coming students, so when they come to college, I will be able to teach them advance searching skills.

My name is Angel Cannon Conley and I am currently a middle school teacher in Marion County West Virginia. I teach 7th and 8th grade Reading and Social Studies and am also the history bowl advisor at FMS. I am currently pursuing my Ed.D. in Instructional Design and Technology and will actually be completing my coursework in the Spring of 2014.
